Justin Miller’s latest album, Lost In Sound is a masterful execution of weaving together the layers of beautiful production with unique melodies.
There is something very interesting about the sound in this project. It mixes pop, EDM, hyperpop, rap and just about any genre you can think of. This is a project ahead of its time and it’s only a matter of time until people outgrow it.
The intro, “Miller”, sets the tone about the duality each track has to offer. The energy in his vocals is fantastic, while the production is hypnotic. “Waves” has that repetitive melody over a loop of effortless rap grace. Other notable elements of this album are the ambient, energetic “space” and other roles.
Each track has its own atmosphere and different layers that require a more elaborate stretch to delve into. This whole project definitely goes against the mainstream of traditional music, but that is exactly why it will stand out from the rest and will be an unforgettable show.
There’s no denying that Justin Miller has ensured listeners capture the full spectrum of his versatility when it comes to blurring the lines between different sounds. With so much creativity out there, we’re bound to expect a lot from the talented artist this season.
